Transport: even more accessible and practical shuttle buses
Dear runners and those accompanying you,
Conforming to our values, for some years, we have put into place a communal transport system which is supported by the Espace Mont-Blanc.
In order that you can move around easily during the week of the event, we have rethought our transport offer in collaboration with Mont-Blanc Bus for France, ATS Italy and TMR for Switzerland. Reserved access, ease of parking, advantageous tariffs and free of charge for runners going to the start of their races, the organization’s buses have numerous advantages. This year a pass per race is available, as well as an express line (Speedy Line) for following the start and finish of the UTMB®, a special pass for families and a group pass. NB: the Speedy Line and the line for following the UTMB®, are the only two possible stops at Les Contamines-Montjoie and at le Col des Montets during the passage of the race. In any case you must reserve your place (runners) and/or buy your passes (accompanying persons) on the UTMB® website as of 20 June.
In order to reduce the number of vehicles around Mont-Blanc, know that the organization’s buses are open to all supporters. Spread the word amongst you!

Transdev Mont Blanc Bus, transport partner
During the event the UTMB® and Transdev Mont Blanc Bus are putting in place an exceptional organization of communal transport for the runners those accompanying them and spectators with two objectives : to experience the race in the best conditions possible, and to limit the impact on the environment, notably the emission of greenhouse gasses.
Installed in Chamonix, the business manages the chain of mobility, and offers solutions which contribute to the quality and to the harmonious development of a successful event: The management of more than 100 buses which are owned by 8 different transport companies. During the event, this represents around 19 000 people transported.
Transdev Mont Blanc Bus has developed a means of regulating the traffic which integrate the specifics of the event: all which covers the three countries – France, Italy and Switzerland- ; the necessity to use the Mont-Blanc tunnel between France and Italy ; and in particular the mountain roads which the drivers are used to driving and who know the mountains well.
Each year and as the months advance, all the team project themselves in to the heart of the races in order to prepare and create the most successful mobility plan as possible.
